The fundamental principle of the learning therapy is to foster the child's strengths in order to compensate for his or her weaknesses. Individual intervention increases th student's scholastic performance, the trust in his or her own abilities, and the motivation to learn.  A positive learning structure is re-established and leads to autonomous, self-dependent learning behavior, bringing about an improved learning environment at school and an easing of familial stress.
